He works as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with skills in individual and family therapy, and his research interests are in Early Intervention and Promotion of Mental Health with special reference to prevention of suicide in young people.

He is the executive director of the Black Dog Institute, an organisation based at the Prince of Wales Hospital that focuses on the treatment of mood disorders, in particular clinical depression and bipolar disorder.
Dr Darcy Smith has been a GP Supervisor since 1994 and has worked predominantly in general practices in Albany and Kalgoorlie, as well as a variety of positions in the Health Department of WA.His key interests are in mental health (Chair of National GP Mental Health Standards Collaboration), obstetrics, blood borne viruses, palliative and aged care and emergency medicine.

Les Posen is a Clinical Psychologist in solo practice in Caulfield Victoria. Specialising anxiety and its treatment, he utilises technologies such as biofeedback and Virtual Reality environments to simulate feared situations for his patients.
He has also a long history of teaching health professionals how to best understand and employ technologies, including social media, in their practices.
