A new sole kind of feeling

An elderly patient passed on an excellent idea to her GP, Dr Dai Tran of Parramatta, NSW. For years, the patient had tried various insoles to treat her corns, but nothing worked as well as a thick menstrual pad, folded to fit inside her shoe. She found they were soft, they absorbed sweat and the sticky side stopped them sliding in the shoe. A brilliant invention, although probably more likely to be used by women than men.
