HISTOACRYL glue is very handy stuff indeed, but many surgeries I’ve worked at don’t stock it because of the expense. However, the tube can be reused as long as there is no risk of patient contamination.
Dr Geoff Ullman from Coorparoo, Qld, suggests cutting pieces of ‘spacing plastic’ tubing from a cotton bud and using a new tip for each patient.
