THE best way to earn positive online reviews from patients is to ensure they wait less than 15 minutes, and to spend more than 10 minutes on each consultation, according to new research.
The research from the DrScore website in the US followed last week’s call from Australian website operators and consumer groups for GPs to ignore medico-legal warnings and encourage patients to rate them online.
Avant CEO David Nathan encouraged GPs to deal with doctor-rating websites only through their MDO, but Word of Mouth Online founder Fiona Adler and Consumers Health Forum CEO Carol Bennett encouraged GPs to embrace the trend by encouraging positive patient feedback.
