WHEN administering vaccinations, especially those supplied in bulk where syringes are not packed individually, Dr Jim Griffin of Brisbane carefully removes the perforated adhesive sticker from the syringe barrel, before safe disposal of the needle, and adheres them to his watch face. This allows easy reference when later entering the batch numbers into his clinical software. Alternatively, they can be stuck on to a paper record, as originally intended. It’s quick and easy.
