Plastic surgery rates fall after recession
LAST year’s recession has been implicated in a decline in US plastic surgery rates, The New York Times reports. A report released by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery found the number of tummy tucks, face-lifts, and breast implant procedures performed fell by around 30% from 2.1 million in 2005 to 1.5 million in 2009.
