Bush wonders blitz photo comp awards

STUNNING images of rural Australia have been featured in a photography competition aimed at promoting rural practice to the next generation of doctors and health professionals. Tasmanian medical student Kenichiro Noda took top honours with his photograph of a Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) aircraft featuring a dandelion in the foreground. Mr Noda said his image superimposed the healing qualities of the flower, used for centuries as a remedy for various ailments, with RFDS medical services.
