Viagra to be sold in British supermarkets

THE erectile dysfunction drug sildenafil (Viagra) will soon be available in UK supermarkets without the need for a prescription.  The Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency granted retailer Tesco permission to sell Viagra at 300 pharmacies within its supermarkets under a special licence known as a patient group direction. The service will be available to men aged 40 to 65, who will be charged £52 ($86) for a consultation and eight tablets.
