Bateman considers HCN sell-off

DR EDMUND Bateman’s Primary Health Care has confirmed it is considering selling its GP software business, Health Communication Network. Primary confirmed it was considering a draft proposal to sell HCN in a statement today following a media report the company was in the early stages of putting it on the market. The report, in The Australian newspaper, said Primary could fetch $250 million to $300 million for the business it bought for $100.7 million in 2005.
