Swine flu vax side-effects reported

THE rate of anaphylaxis following swine flu vaccination is within the expected range, a TGA review of adverse reactions has revealed. In its first report on adverse reactions since the national immunisation program began, the TGA said six reports of possible anaphylaxis had been received between 30 September and 29 October. On advice from the Adverse Drug Reactions Advisory Committee, the TGA concluded that only four of the cases were likely to have been associated with the vaccine.
