A SYDNEY GP who failed to refer a patient with a recurrent skin cancer to a specialist, then unsuccessfully tried to remove it himself despite being unqualified, has been found guilty of unprofessional conduct and formally reprimanded. Botched circumcision leads to suspension
A MELBOURNE GP has been suspended for three months after botching a circumcision that left a young patient requiring months of reconstructive surgery. In a decision handed down by the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal last month, Dr Mohammed Mateenul Jabbar was reprimanded for unprofessional conduct after he inappropriately performed the procedure on a 26-month-old child at his private clinical rooms.
