REPORTS of adverse reactions to the anti-smoking drug varenicline (Champix) have increased markedly since it was listed on the PBS at the beginning of the year.
The Adverse Drug Reactions Bulletin warned it was “increasingly likely with accumulating evidence that there is an association between varenicline and serious neuropsychiatric events”.
