You may be eligible for limited access. However, this will not allow you to comment on articles or see other users’ comments. Please contact us here


What is the difference between full access and limited access to Medical Observer?

Users with limited access are not able to see all content on Medical Observer, including comments and likes from other members.


Why do you use a “Claim My Profile” process instead of a regular website registration?

It makes the process of joining quicker, and it also makes Medical Observer more secure, helping to ensure privacy.

Only AHPRA-registered healthcare professionals can see comments on Medical Observer.

Am I responsible for my own comments on Medical Observer?

Yes, just as you are with Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. If we see something inappropriate we will remove it. However, by accepting the Terms & Conditions of use you are taking responsibility for your own actions and indemnifying Medical Observer. This includes comments that are potentially libellous.

How do I see today’s news articles?

The order of the articles you see is determined by what has happened since your last visit as well as your past reading habits, what other members are reading and the areas of interest you selected in your profile. We also recommend that you sign up for our daily e-newsletter. Please go to the 'edit profile' section to update your e-newsletter subscription.


How do I remove an article from my read-later list?

When you click the read-later button, the button changes to “Saved to Read Later”. Simply click this again to remove the article from your reading list.


Can I send an article to be published?
